Okay, where to begin? I'll start by saying: I really like reading Man Repeller for Leandra Medine's smooth prose – it's like hanging out with your best friend. Or listening to her anyway. I love reading Style Bubble because Susie Lau just knows her stuff. She's so inspiring with her unique vision and her dedication to the craft of fashion — seeking out wisdom through her experience! And for all the fashion/design/food/lifestyle bloggers out there, making a name for themselves and just doing what they love, I'm so inspired by so many around me. That's why last year, when I was really digging deep and trying to hit that reset button to get me inspired again, I applied to the Condé Nast College of Fashion and Design. I didn't know what I was going to get out of it – I just knew I wanted to go after what I loved. I wanted to immerse myself in fashion, and I wanted to really take a moment to do what felt right. So I landed in London nine days ago, had a whirlwind of a first week. And after today's classes and workshops, was able to muster together the strength to write this post. It's a start, and I'll have to see where it takes me. But at least I know it's gotten me this far. However many thousands of miles from LA I am, I'm following my gut. And having fun! And I'm feeling really good about it.
